Do you know the Symbol of the United States?

Symbols of the United States – Bald Eagle

The national bird of the United States is the bald eagle.

The bald eagle was adopted as the national bird in 1782.

In the wild, the bald eagle can live to be between 30 and 35 years old.

In captivity, they can even reach fifty years old.

Once they are fully grown, their wingspan can reach 7 feet in length.

When a bald eagle dives, they can reach speeds of 100 miles per hour.

They feed on fish, waterfowl, and small mammals.

The bald eagle is strong, majestic, and native to North America.

All of these characteristics make it an excellent choice for the national bird.
