Explore the J600s.
(The J stands for Juvenile ~ which means it’s a book for kids)
If you’re looking to find out more about technology, the J600s
are the place to look.
This section of
the nonfiction covers the way things work, inventions, the human body,
firefighters, airplanes, cars and trucks, space ships, gardening, pets, farm
animals, cookbooks and how things are made.
You can find books ranging on topics from how to take care
of your dog, to how to bake a cake, to what it is like to go to space.
Some of the books you can find at the Avon Library in this
section include Kids Cook 1-2-3 by
Rozanne Gold, One Giant Leap by
Robert Burleigh, First Encyclopedia of
the Human Body by Usborne, and Dogs
on Duty by Dorothy Patent. Come to
the children’s room to see what the 600s are all about.
